Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Downstate Teacher Article of the Illinois Pension Code. In provisions concerning contributions by State and other employing units, provides that, in determining a teacher's average salary for any school year used to determine final average salary, the System shall not include any payment that is paid to a teacher from the State of Illinois, the State Board of Education, or the United States government over which the school district does not have discretion.
