Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Veterans Preference Act. Provides that persons who have been members of the National Guard of any state (rather than the Illinois National Guard) shall be given preference under the Act.
House Floor Amendment No. 1 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the provisions of the introduced bill with the following changes: Provides that for provisions concerning veterans preference, a person who has been a member of the Illinois National Guard shall be given priority over a person who has been a member of the National Guard of any other state. Makes other changes.
