Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Counties Code. Provides that the Cook County Health and Hospitals System created by Cook County Ordinance Number 08-O-35 (known as the "Ordinance Establishing the Cook County Health and Hospitals System"), as amended and in effect on December 30, 2009, shall not terminate but shall exist perpetually in that form unless modified by the General Assembly by law. Denies home rule powers. Effective immediately.
