Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Liquor Control Act of 1934. Provides that the Illinois Liquor Control Commission shall refuse the issuance or renewal of a license if the licensee or license applicant has violated certain provisions of the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act concerning the filing of returns. Provides that the Illinois Liquor Control Commission shall suspend or revoke (now revoke) the license of a licensee who has violated certain provisions of the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act concerning the filing of returns.

Deletes everything. Amends the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Provides that a distributor, importing distributor, or manufacturer of alcoholic liquor must notify each retailer listed on the distributor's, importing distributor's, or manufacturer's monthly statement of the total sales of alcoholic liquors to the retailer during the preceding month. Amends the Liquor Control Act of 1934. Provides that the Illinois Liquor Control Commission may refuse the issuance or renewal of a license, fine a licensee, or suspend or revoke the license of (now revoke the license of) a licensee that violates certain provisions of the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act concerning the filing of statements with the Department of Revenue. Effective immediately.

Further amends the Liquor Control Act of 1934. Provides that a wine-maker's premises license shall allow a licensee that concurrently holds a first-class wine-maker's license or a second-class wine-maker's license to sell and offer for sale at retail at the premises specified in the wine-maker's premises license, for use or consumption but not for resale in any form, any beer, wine, and spirits purchased from a licensed distributor. Provides that, with certain exceptions, an action by the Illinois Liquor Control Commission to revoke or suspend a licensee's license for a violation of the Act may be limited to the license for the specific premises where the violation occurred. Provides that a licensee who is the subject of an enforcement action and is found to be in compliance with the Act shall be notified by the enforcement agency that he or she was found to be in compliance within 30 days after the finding.
