Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the University of Illinois Act. Lowers the age at which a student may be admitted to the University from 15 to 14 years. Effective immediately.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the University of Illinois Act. Removes a provision that prohibits a student from being admitted to instruction in any of the departments of the University who has not attained the age of 15 years and who has not previously undergone a satisfactory examination in each of the branches ordinarily taught in the common schools of this State. Effective immediately.
