Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Sex Offender Registration Act. Requires a person registering as a sex offender or sexual predator to provide the Department of State Police with his or her telephone number, including cellular telephone number.
Further amends the Sex Offender Registration Act. Provides that a sex offender, other than a sexually dangerous or sexually violent person, shall report in person a change in telephone number or cellular telephone number with the appropriate law enforcement agency within 3 days after the change and the law enforcement agency shall notify the Department of State Police of such change within 3 days of the reporting in person by the sex offender to the law enforcement agency.
