Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Cycle Rider Safety Training Act. Provides for certain disbursements from the Cycle Rider Safety Training Fund notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary adopted after the effective date of the amendatory Act. Effective immediately.

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Cycle Rider Safety Training Act. Provides that the Secretary of State, rather than the Department of Transportation, shall administer the Act. Provides that the trustee of the Cycle Rider Safety Training Fund: "shall be the Secretary of State"; "has a fiduciary duty to all motorcyclists of the State of Illinois to make maximum, efficient use of the Cycle Rider Safety Training Fund to fund motorcycle safety training in Illinois"; and "shall transfer money from that Fund to approved motorcycle safety programs in this State without further authorization from any governmental official or body". Effective immediately.
