Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that a prisoner serving a sentence for a gang-related felony that did not involve the use of a firearm and was committed against a peace officer, fire fighter, emergency medical technician, paramedic, ambulance driver, or other medical assistance or first aid personnel shall receive no more than 4.5 days of good conduct credit for each month of his or her sentence of imprisonment.
