Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Illinois Pesticide Act. Provides that an applicant under the Act who has been certified shall be required to apply for a license or pesticide dealer registration on or before October 31 of each year. Provides that failure to apply for a license or pesticide dealer registration on or before October 31 of each year shall void the certification. Effective immediately.
House Floor Amendment No. 2 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Pesticide Act. Provides that a certification shall remain valid only if an applicant attains licensure or pesticide dealer registration during the calendar year in which certification was granted and the licensure is maintained throughout the 3-year certification period.
