Synopsis As Introduced
Urges the residents and local governments of Illinois to move their money from large multi-state banks to Illinois-based community banks in order to support responsible lending practices and the State's economy.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes language concerning (1) the nation's 4 largest banks cutting their loans to businesses despite efforts by Congress and the current administration to increase bank lending and (2) the amounts of bailout money.
