Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the City Colleges of Chicago Article of the Public Community College Act. Repeals provisions concerning a financial report the chief administrative officer must submit to the board of trustees. Effective immediately.

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Public Community College Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the City Colleges of Chicago.

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the bill as introduced, with the following additions. Amends the State Finance Act, the Private College Act, and the Academic Degree Act. Amends the Private College Act to provide that fees to cover the cost of reviewing applications for a certificate of approval may be set by the Board of Higher Education by rule. Provides that fees collected for the administration and enforcement of the Act must be deposited into the Private College Academic Quality Assurance Fund, a special fund in the State treasury. Provides that all money in the Fund must be used, subject to appropriation, by the Board to supplement support for the administration and enforcement of the Act and must not be used for any other purpose. Amends the Academic Degree Act to provide that fees to cover the cost of reviewing applications for authorization may be set by the Board by rule.
