Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Criminal Code of 2012 concerning child pornography. Provides that the possession of each individual film, videotape, photograph, or other similar visual reproduction or depiction by computer in violation of the child pornography statute constitutes a single and separate violation.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
States that the provision that the possession of each individual film, videotape, photograph, or other similar visual reproduction or depiction by computer in violation of the child pornography statute constitutes a single and separate violation does not apply to multiple copies of the same film, videotape, photograph, or other similar visual reproduction or depiction by computer that are identical to each other.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 2
Adds reference to:
730 ILCS 5/5-8-4from Ch. 38, par. 1005-8-4

Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that the court shall impose consecutive sentences when the defendant is convicted of child pornography or aggravated child pornography that does not involve possession of child pornography and when the defendant is convicted of possession of child pornography when the child depicted is under the age of 13.
