Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Higher Education Student Assistance Act. Under the ITEACH Teacher Shortage Scholarship Program, provides that the annual maximum amount of $5,000 per scholarship shall be increased to $10,000 if the recipient agrees to teach mathematics, science, special education, or transitional bilingual education. Effective July 1, 2003.
