Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that any person who, for the purpose of obtaining or renewing a military special license plate, falsely and knowingly claims either to have been awarded a military decoration or to be on active duty in the United States Armed Forces or a military veteran is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor and shall, in addition to any other penalty, be fined not less than $1,000.
