Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Attorney General Act. Transfers the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program from the Department on Aging to the Attorney General. Amends the Illinois Act on the Aging to make conforming changes.

 Fiscal Note (Department on Aging)
 The fiscal impact of HB 1207 will be a $2,600,000/year loss of funds to the Aging Network. In addition, there will be significant start-up costs for the Office of the Attorney General to take over this federally mandated program.
