Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Increases the fee for disposal of more than 150,000 cubic yards of non-hazardous solid waste per year. Provides that the moneys from the increase shall be used to enhance the Agency's permit review functions. Effective July 1, 2003.

 Fiscal Note (Illinois Environmental Protection Agency)
 House Bill 1522 would generate between $600,000 and $650,000 per year based upon current disposal volumes.
