Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Pharmacy Practice Act of 1987. Provides that "patient profiles" or "patient drug therapy records" includes information concerning prescriptions for controlled substances. Provides that, upon request, a pharmacist shall provide a physician licensed to practice medicine in all its branches who is prepared to prescribe or has prescribed a controlled substance for a patient with information from the patient's most recent patient profile, including information about any prescriptions for controlled substances.
