Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Department of Transportation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Authorizes the creation of the Prairie Parkway Corridor Council to take certain actions in relation to the economic development of the Prairie Parkway Corridor. Provides procedures for the organization and operation of the Council. Requires the Council to report annually to the counties and municipalities represented by its members. Provides that the Council is abolished 10 years after completion of the Prairie Parkway or upon the vote of a majority of the voting members. Effective immediately.
