Synopsis As Introduced Creates a study committee to investigate and hold public hearings about the effects of U.S. trade policy on Illinois jobs and farms.
House Committee Amendment No. 1 Provides for four individuals from the Illinois AFL-CIO Executive Board and four individuals from the Illinois Manufacturers' Association on the study committee instead of two from the Illinois AFL-CIO Executive Board and two from the Illinois Chamber of Commerce.
House Committee Amendment No. 2 Provides that the study committee shall file a final report, containing its findings and recommendations, with the Governor and the General Assembly no later than January 3, 2005.

No fiscal effect.
Senate Floor Amendment No. 1 Provides that the study committee shall file its final report no later than May 1, 2005 (instead of January 3, 2005).
