Synopsis As Introduced
Recognizes certain rights of homeless persons, and creates a Task Force to study (i) ways in which the Department of Public Health could monitor and enforce those rights and (ii) ways in which the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity could address certain issues concerning housing.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Changes the reporting date of the Task Force from January 1, 2004 to January 12, 2005.

House Floor Amendment No. 2
Provides that the task force shall consist of 6 members (instead of 5), with 3 (instead of 2) appointed by the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives.
