Synopsis As Introduced
Encourages the General Assembly to promptly review and evaluate the Report on Waiver of School Code Mandates filed by the State Board of Education to determine if the Report should be disapproved in whole or in part.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1
Replaces the provisions of the resolved clause of the resolution with provisions disapproving certain school district requests for waivers relating to the limitation of administrative costs, substitute teachers, and certification. Approves the waiver request made by Ridgeview CUSD 19 - McLean with respect to driver education for one year and disapproves the request for the remaining 4 years.
