Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning venue for attachment proceedings.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
735 ILCS 5/4-103
Adds reference to:
735 ILCS 5/21-103from Ch. 110, par. 21-103

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Provides that notice by publication for a name change shall be for 3 consecutive weeks after filing (instead of 3 consecutive weeks), the first insertion to be at least 6 weeks before the return day upon which the petition is to be heard (instead of filed). Provides that the notice shall set forth the return day of court on which the petition is to be heard (instead of filed).
