Synopsis As Introduced
Requests that police reports include if an automobile accident involved the use of a cellular phone and directs the Department of State Police to compile statistics from State, county, and municipal law enforcement agencies related to cellular phone use and automobile accidents.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Resolves that the Department of Transportation (instead of the Department of State Police) shall request from State, county, and municipal law enforcement agencies statistics on the use of cellular phones leading to automobile accidents over a one-year period and report the findings to the General Assembly. Makes a related change.
