Synopsis As Introduced
Encourages the General Assembly to promptly review and evaluate the Report on Waiver of School Code Mandates filed by the State Board of Education to determine if the Report should be disapproved in whole or in part.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces the provisions of the resolved clause of the resolution with provisions (i) disapproving a certain school district request for a waiver relating to the Prairie State Achievement Examination, (ii) approving certain school district requests for waivers relating to physical education for 2 years and disapproving those requests for the remaining 3 years, (iii) modifying certain school district requests for waivers relating to driver education for approval of a $250 per student maximum fee, and (iv) modifying a certain school district request for a waiver relating to driver education for only 2 years and disapproving the request for the remaining 3 years.
