Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
5 ILCS 100/1-1
Adds reference to:
20 ILCS 405/405-105was 20 ILCS 405/64.1

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Department of Central Management Services Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Central Management Services shall have the power and duty to, by February 1, 2011, (i) extend to the General Assembly the State's existing plan for public liability and property self-insurance established and administered by the Department of Central Management Services and (ii) recommend a plan to be administered by the General Assembly providing for the purchase of insurance or for self-insurance or for a combination of both covering certain liabilities, property exposures, and drivers of the General Assembly. Makes other changes. Effective immediately.
