Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Election Code. Repeals a provision permitting the filing of "temporarily absent student" notices with election authorities for the purpose of absentee voting. Effective immediately.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Adds reference to:
10 ILCS 5/17-22from Ch. 46, par. 17-22

Further amends the Election Code. Provides that only election judges entitled to vote may make the required deliveries of post-election tally sheets and certificates of results to the election authority. Removes obsolete references to the nonpartisan election.
