Provides that the coroner shall make the report in writing (i) within 7 days after the determination that a fire was a contributing factor in the death and (ii) in the form and manner prescribed by the State Fire Marshal. Senate Floor Amendment No. 1
In connection with a coroner's report of a death to the Office of the State Fire Marshal, provides that the coroner shall provide a copy of the death certificate (i) within 30 days after filing the permanent death certificate (instead of making a report within 7 days after determining that a fire was a contributing factor in the death) and (ii) in a manner that is agreed upon by the coroner and the State Fire Marshal (instead of in the form and manner prescribed by the State Fire Marshal).
