Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Election Code. Requires each candidate for an executive constitutional office to file with the State Board of Elections, not later than 90 days before the general election at which he or she is seeking election or retention, a copy of his or her State and federal tax returns for the 5 taxable years immediately preceding the date of that election. Requires the Board to make the disclosed returns available to the public for inspection and copying. Authorizes the Board, at the direction of the candidate, to redact personal identifying information. Prohibits the name of any candidate for an executive constitutional office who has not made all of these required disclosures from appearing upon the ballot for the general election for which he or she failed to make those disclosures. Defines "Board" and "candidate for an executive constitutional office".
