Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the State Finance Act. Creates the FY12 Medicaid Bill Reduction Fund and the FY12 Bill Reduction Fund as special funds in the State treasury. Provides that, subject to appropriation, moneys in those funds shall be used by the Comptroller for the payment of unpaid State Medicaid obligations and unpaid State obligations, respectively, and for no other purpose. Provides that, as soon as practical, the Comptroller shall order transferred and the Treasurer shall transfer an amount equal to $1 from the General Revenue Fund into the FY12 Medicaid Bill Reduction Fund and an amount equal to $1 from the General Revenue Fund to the FY12 Bill Reduction Fund. Effective immediately.
