Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Real Estate Appraiser Licensing Act of 2002. Removes provisions exempting certain types of valuations from being considered appraisals under the Act. Effective immediately.
House Floor Amendment No. 2 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Real Estate Appraiser Licensing Act of 2002. Provides that specified valuation waivers may be prepared by a licensed appraiser and a license is not required under the Act to perform such valuations if the valuations are performed by an employee of the Illinois Department of Transportation or a county engineer under certain circumstances. Effective immediately.
Senate Committee Amendment No. 1 Makes changes to provisions concerning employees of the Illinois Department of Transportation and county engineers performing valuations.
Senate Floor Amendment No. 2 Removes a change regarding specific types of valuations not being considered appraisals. Provides that valuation waivers must include the license number of the employee of the Illinois Department of Transportation that is a registered professional engineer co-signing the valuation waiver. Provides that a county engineer shall affix his or her license number to the valuation.
