Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning prisoner records maintained by the Department of Corrections.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Correctional Budget and Impact Note Act. Requires a Correctional Budget and Impact Note on every sentencing bill filed. Requires the Department of Juvenile Justice to prepare notes concerning a bill's impact on the Department. Requires the sponsor to file a statement identifying a preferred means of funding the costs to be incurred due to the legislation. Makes conforming and other changes. Effective immediately.
