Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the IMRF Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Allows for establishment of creditable service for unused sick leave with school districts and other specified educational entities even if the employee was not in service with the employer within 60 days of the effective date of his or her retirement annuity. Makes other related changes. Effective immediately.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause with the introduced bill with the following change. Removes language that allows establishment of the service even if the employee was not in service with the employer within 60 days of the effective date of his or her retirement annuity. Effective immediately.
