Fiscal Note (Department of Public Aid) | |
IDPA must create a system (most likely internet based) for pharmacies to inquire on prices- estimated less than $1 million. IDPA must monitor pharmacies compliance with the law. Conservatively it would probably take 4-6 staff at a cost between $100,000 to $200,000. Providing consumer information. The most cost effective way would be via the internet. Direct mailing and phone banks would be much more costly, inefficient, and information would be obsolete by the time the consumer received it. |
