Synopsis As Introduced Creates the Entertainment Industry Worker Training Center Act. Provides that the Department of Labor, in consultation with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and the Chicago Entertainment Industry Labor Council, shall create the Entertainment Industry Worker Training Center. Provides that the Center shall provide the space and the technology for specified training programs. Provides that subject to appropriation, the Department shall purchase a building needed for hands on training, or the renovation of an existing building, to be developed in an urban area, and within safe walking distance to public transportation.
