Synopsis As Introduced
Creates the Welfare to Work Task Force to study various issues relating to the placement of qualified welfare recipients in State jobs or jobs contracted out by the State.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Provides that the Minority Leader shall appoint 3 members (rather than 2 members) of the Task Force. Provides that the Task Force shall report its findings to the General Assembly on or before January 7, 2005 (rather than January 7, 2004).

House Floor Amendment No. 2
Provides that the authority of the Task Force to employ skilled experts is subject to appropriation.
