Synopsis As Introduced
Applauds the President, the U.S. Department of Energy, and congressional leaders for their efforts concerning FutureGen, which is a demonstration project that will create a coal-based, zero emissions power plant to produce electricity and hydrogen. Urges the members of Congress to take any actions necessary to fully implement the FutureGen project. Urges the President and the U.S. Department of Energy to locate the FutureGen project in Illinois.
