AN ACT concerning government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by |
adding Section 11 as follows:
|
(5 ILCS 490/11 new) |
Sec. 11. Italian-American Heritage Month. The month of |
October of each year is designated as Italian-American |
Heritage Month to be observed throughout the State as a month |
to recognize the contributions and influence of Italians on |
American history, achievement, culture, and innovation.
