SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

35 ILCS 200/26-10

Amends the Property Tax Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning assessments.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning revenue.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing Section 26-10 as follows:

(35 ILCS 200/26-10)

Sec. 26-10. Informality in assessments or lists. An assessment of property or charge for taxes thereon, shall not be considered illegal on account of any informality in making the the assessment, or in the tax lists, or on account of the assessments not being made or completed within the time required by law.
