HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Richard "Rick" Drazner of Buffalo Grove; and

WHEREAS, Rick Drazner was an attorney and public adjuster and was known for his commitment to his community; and

WHEREAS, Rick Drazner was a Buffalo Grove Park District Commissioner for over 20 years; he served as the board's president and was most recently slated to become vice president; during his tenure, the park district completed projects such as the Buffalo Grove Fitness Center, the Golf Dome, the Community Arts Center, the redevelopment of Willow Stream Park, and the Buddy Baseball Field; and

WHEREAS, Rick Drazner was a member of the local Rotary Club, the chamber of commerce, and Congregation Beth Judea; and

WHEREAS, Rick Drazner is survived by his wife, Melissa Rosenberg Drazner; his children, Abigail and Jeremy Drazner; and his mother, Yvette Drazner; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Richard "Rick" Drazner and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Rick Drazner as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
