HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate the St. Teresa High School volleyball team, the Bulldogs, on winning the 2019 Illinois High School Association Class 2A state championship; and

WHEREAS, The Bulldogs are the first team in Macon County to win a state volleyball championship; and

WHEREAS, The Bulldogs are coached by Head Coach Brad Dalton and Assistant Coach Kimberly McGregor; and

WHEREAS, The Bulldogs are Grace Buxton, Ella Morrell, Audrey Banning, Mylee Venters, Layo Oladipupo, Akpeuwe Akpoigbe, Abby Robinson, Kenzie Snow, Marie Delaney, Caleigh Craft, Valerie Nutakor, Lexie Huck, Sade Oladipupo, Cami Lobb, and Addison Newbon; the managers are Jordyn Santella and Emily Birschbach; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the St. Teresa High School volleyball team, the Bulldogs, on winning the 2019 Illinois High School Association Class 2A state championship, and we wish them many more successful seasons; and be it further

RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be presented to the coaches and members of the Bulldogs and Principal Larry Daly as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
