SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Paul F. Mateja of North Chicago, who passed away on February 29, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Paul Mateja was born to Julius and Pauline Mateja; he attended Holy Rosary Grade School and North Chicago High School; he graduated from Devry Tech with a degree in applied science; and

WHEREAS, Paul Mateja's favorite hobbies included electronic projects and woodworking; and

WHEREAS, Paul Mateja was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Paul Mateja is survived by his sister, Michaelene, and his many cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Paul F. Mateja and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Paul Mateja as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
