| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Timothy (Tim) Alan Clevenger of Silvis, | 4 | | who passed away on September 3, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Tim Clevenger was born to Ronald and Marjorie | 6 | | (DeMeyer) Clevenger in Moline on June 15, 1967; he graduated | 7 | | from United Township High School and then served in the Marine | 8 | | Corps for four years; he re-enlisted after the start of the | 9 | | Gulf War and spent six months in Saudi Arabia; when he was | 10 | | discharged, he returned home and started classes at Western | 11 | | Illinois University; he married Teresa Garrett in 1993, and | 12 | | they later divorced; he graduated from Western Illinois | 13 | | University and Black Hawk College; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Tim Clevenger taught at Brown Mackie College; he | 15 | | later worked in the computer field at NCR Corp in Georgia, | 16 | | Exectec Associates in North Carolina, JDIS in Moline, and Derby | 17 | | Tech in East Moline; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Tim Clevenger enjoyed music and taught himself how | 19 | | to play the guitar and sing; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Tim Clevenger was preceded in death by his | 21 | | daughter, Abbi Clevenger LaFrance, and his nephew, Chris |

| 2 | | WHEREAS, Tim Clevenger is survived by his parents, Ron and | 3 | | Marg Clevenger; his siblings, Carrie (Eric) Pena, Debra | 4 | | Barrett, Donald Clevenger, Jane Clevenger, and Melisa | 5 | | Clevenger (Terry Plumb); his 15 nieces and nephews; and his 16 | 6 | | great-nieces and great-nephews; therefore, be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 8 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
| 9 | | Timothy (Tim) Alan Clevenger and extend our sincere
condolences | 10 | | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
him; and be | 11 | | it further
