SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Matthew Gosch Kuhn of Waukegan, who
4passed away on June 11, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Matthew Kuhn was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to
6Michael and Susan Kuhn on February 28, 1984; he attended St.
7Anastasia Grade School and Waukegan High School; following high
8school, he attended ITT to study computer science; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Matthew Kuhn was smart and charming and had a
10generous heart; he always rallied for the underdog and made his
11loved ones feel treasured; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Matthew Kuhn was preceded in death by his
13grandparents, Francis and Marion Kuhn and Walter and Anne
14Gosch, and his godfather and uncle, Wally Kuhn; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Matthew Kuhn is survived by his parents; his
16sisters, Emily and Kait; his brother-in-law, Joe; and numerous
17aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
20Matthew Gosch Kuhn and extend our sincere condolences to his

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
2further
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4presented to the family of Matthew Kuhn as an expression of our
5deepest sympathy.
