SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Matthew Gosch Kuhn of Waukegan, who passed away on June 11, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Matthew Kuhn was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Michael and Susan Kuhn on February 28, 1984; he attended St. Anastasia Grade School and Waukegan High School; following high school, he attended ITT to study computer science; and

WHEREAS, Matthew Kuhn was smart and charming and had a generous heart; he always rallied for the underdog and made his loved ones feel treasured; and

WHEREAS, Matthew Kuhn was preceded in death by his grandparents, Francis and Marion Kuhn and Walter and Anne Gosch, and his godfather and uncle, Wally Kuhn; and

WHEREAS, Matthew Kuhn is survived by his parents; his sisters, Emily and Kait; his brother-in-law, Joe; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Matthew Gosch Kuhn and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Matthew Kuhn as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
