| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Lowell W. Titterington of Taylor | 4 | | Ridge, who passed away on August 29, 2021; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Lowell Titterington was born to Clifford and | 6 | | Florence Bruchmann Titterington in rural Taylor Ridge on | 7 | | August 5, 1931; he graduated from the former Reynolds High | 8 | | School; he married Phyllis Ann Boney at the Buffalo Prairie | 9 | | Presbyterian Church on March 2, 1952; he served in the U.S. | 10 | | Army as a field communication crewman during the Korean War | 11 | | from 1954 to 1956; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Lowell Titterington farmed in the Taylor Ridge | 13 | | area all of his life; he was also employed at John Deere | 14 | | Harvester in East Moline before retiring in 1987; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Lowell Titterington was a member of the Edgington | 16 | | Presbyterian Church and the Andalusia Masonic Lodge No. 516; | 17 | | his passion was stained glass art, and he created many | 18 | | beautiful pieces throughout the years; he enjoyed flying | 19 | | airplanes, traveling as a member of the Friendship Force Club, | 20 | | fishing with his grandchildren, and being with his family; and
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Lowell Titterington was preceded in death by his |

| 1 | | parents and one grandson; and
| 2 | | WHEREAS, Lowell Titterington is survived by his wife, | 3 | | Phyllis; his daughters, Karen (Les) Price, Kathy (Kevin) | 4 | | Patterson, Lisa (Butch) Carver, and Lori (Paul) Rash; his | 5 | | grandchildren, Amber, Kaitlyn, Kelly, Ralph, Joshua, Julia, | 6 | | and Jenna; his great-grandchildren, Clayton, Easton, and Ayla; | 7 | | and his nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 10 | | Lowell W. Titterington and extend our sincere condolences to | 11 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 12 | | further
