    Amends the Attorney Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning an attorney's oath.

1    AN ACT concerning courts.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Attorney Act is amended by changing Section
54 as follows:
 
6    (705 ILCS 205/4)  (from Ch. 13, par. 4)
7    Sec. 4. Every person admitted to practice as an attorney
8and and counsellor at law shall, before his name is entered
9upon the roll to be kept as hereinafter provided, take and
10subscribe an oath, substantially in the following form:
11    I do solemnly swear (or affirm, as the case may be), that I
12will support the constitution of the United States and the
13constitution of the state of Illinois, and that I will
14faithfully discharge the duties of the office of attorney and
15counselor at law to the best of my ability.
