SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

5 ILCS 220/3.10 new

Amends the Intergovernmental Cooperation Act. Provides that any 2 or more school districts may, by intergovernmental agreement, establish a mutually beneficial technology exchange program to provide for the sharing of education resources, including computers, tablets, electronic readers, and other technology.

AN ACT concerning government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Intergovernmental Cooperation Act is amended by adding Section 3.10 as follows:

(5 ILCS 220/3.10 new)

Sec. 3.10. School district technology exchange. Any 2 or more school districts as governed under the School Code may, by intergovernmental agreement, establish a mutually beneficial technology exchange program to provide for the sharing of education resources, including computers, tablets, electronic readers, and other technology.
