SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
    Authorizes the People of the State of Illinois to release specified property located in Monroe County from all dedication and easement rights and interest acquired for highway purposes for the sum of $2,700. Effective immediately.

1    AN ACT concerning property.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. Upon the payment of the sum of $2,700 to the
5State of Illinois, and subject to the conditions set forth in
6Section 10, the People of the State of Illinois hereby release
7the following described land in Monroe County, Illinois from
8all dedication and easement rights and interest acquired for
9highway purposes:
 
10    Parcel No. 800XC79:
 
11    That part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 1, Township
12    4 South, Range 9 West of the Third Principal Meridian,
13    Monroe County, Illinois described as follows:
 
14    Commencing at an iron pin with cap at the southwest corner
15    of said northwest quarter of Section 1, thence on the
16    south line of said northwest quarter of Section 1 on an
17    assumed bearing of North 89 degrees 55 minutes 31 seconds
18    East, a distance of 1,326.16 feet to the east line of the
19    west half of said northwest quarter of Section 1; thence
20    on said east line of the west half of the northwest quarter
21    of Section 1, North 0 degrees 12 minutes 35 seconds West, a

1    distance of 193.43 feet to the south right-of-way line of
2    Illinois Route 3 as described in Circuit Court of Monroe
3    County Decree No. 616 dated October 6, 1958; thence
4    northwesterly 782.00 feet on said south right of way line
5    of Illinois Route 3 on a curve to the right, having a
6    radius of 5799.65 feet, the chord of said curve bears
7    North 42 degrees 42 minutes 12 seconds West, 781.41 feet,
8    said curve being 70.00 feet southerly of and concentric
9    with the centerline of said Illinois Route 3, to the north
10    corner of a tract of land described in the deed to William
11    P. Hatley and Teresa S. Hatley, as Joint Tenants, as
12    recorded February 2, 1983 in Book 139, Page 713, said
13    corner being the Point of Beginning.
 
14    From said Point of Beginning; thence northwesterly 194.99
15    feet on a curve to the right, having a radius of 5,799.65
16    feet, the chord of said curve bears North 37 degrees 52
17    minutes 38 seconds West, 194.98 feet, said curve being
18    70.00 feet southerly of and concentric with the centerline
19    of said Illinois Route 3; thence westerly 163.71 feet on a
20    curve to the left having a radius of 60.00 feet, the chord
21    of said curve bears South 64 degrees 55 minutes 20 seconds
22    West, 117.45 feet; thence southerly 240.80 feet on a curve
23    to the left, having a radius of 2,000.00 feet, the chord of
24    said curve bears South 16 degrees 41 minutes 26 seconds
25    East, 240.66 feet to the existing southeasterly

1    right-of-way line of said Illinois Route 3; thence North
2    51 degrees 09 minutes 34 seconds East, 201.53 feet on said
3    right-of-way line to the Point of Beginning.
 
4    Said parcel 800XC79 herein described contains 0.8790 acre
5    or 38,290 square feet, more or less.
 
6    Section 10. The Department of Transportation shall obtain
7a certified copy of this Act within 60 days after its effective
8date and, upon receipt of the payment required by Section 5,
9shall record the certified document in the Recorder's Office
10in the county in which the land is located.
 
11    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
12becoming law.
