SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
210 ILCS 49/5-101

    Amends the Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Act of 2013. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning managed care entity, coordinated care entity, and accountable care entity payments.

1    AN ACT concerning regulation.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation
5Act of 2013 is amended by changing Section 5-101 as follows:
 
6    (210 ILCS 49/5-101)
7    Sec. 5-101. Managed care entity, coordinated care entity,
8and accountable care entity payments. For facilities licensed
9by the the Department of Public Health under this Act, the
10payment for services provided shall be determined by
11negotiation with managed care entities, coordinated care
12entities, or accountable care entities. However, for 3 years
13after the effective date of this Act, in no event shall the
14reimbursement rate paid to facilities licensed under this Act
15be less than the rate in effect on June 30, 2013 less $7.07
16times the number of occupied bed days, as that term is defined
17in Article V-B of the Illinois Public Aid Code, for each
18facility previously licensed under the Nursing Home Care Act
19on June 30, 2013; or the rate in effect on June 30, 2013 for
20each facility licensed under the Specialized Mental Health
21Rehabilitation Act on June 30, 2013. Any adjustment in the
22support component or the capital component for facilities
23licensed by the Department of Public Health under the Nursing

1Home Care Act shall apply equally to facilities licensed by
2the Department of Public Health under this Act for the
3duration of the provisional licensure period as defined in
4Section 4-105 of this Act.
5    The Department of Healthcare and Family Services shall
6publish a reimbursement rate for triage, crisis stabilization,
7and transitional living services by December 1, 2014.
