1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate Kimberly Fitzsimmons on
4 being named a 2020 Student Art Ambassador by the Illinois Art
5 Education Association (IAEA); and

6     WHEREAS, Kimberly Fitzsimmons is one of 44 student art
7 ambassadors featured in the 2020 IAEA State-wide Student Art
8 Show, which is a juried art show that represents Illinois'
9 K-12th grade art curriculum and showcases as many different
10 art teachers and their students as possible to exemplify best
11 practices throughout the State; and

12     WHEREAS, Kimberly Fitzsimmons submitted a charcoal drawing
13 as an 11th grade student for the art show; and

14     WHEREAS, Kimberly Fitzsimmons was selected along with her
15 art teacher, Nick Vogt; and

16     WHEREAS, Kimberly Fitzsimmons is currently a senior at
17 Pontiac Township High School; therefore, be it

18     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
19 HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
20 we congratulate Kimberly Fitzsimmons on being named a 2020

1 Student Art Ambassador by the Illinois Art Education
2 Association and wish her continued success in her artistic
3 endeavors; and be it further

4     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5 presented to Kimberly Fitzsimmons as an expression of our
6 esteem and respect.
