1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate the Bartlett High School
4 girls basketball team, the Hawks, on winning the Upstate Eight
5 Conference championship; and

6     WHEREAS, The Hawks defeated Glenbard South High School by
7 a score of 48 to 38 to claim their championship; and

8     WHEREAS, The Hawks compiled a season record of 12 wins and
9 three losses and concluded the season with the regular season
10 and conference titles and 11 consecutive victories; and

11     WHEREAS, The Hawks are coached by Head Coach Kristi Ragan
12 and Assistant Coaches Brittany Leiber, Kurt Andrews, and
13 Samantha Prang; and

14     WHEREAS, The Hawks will remember this season for years to
15 come; therefore, be it

16     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
17 HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
18 we congratulate the Bartlett High School girls basketball
19 team, the Hawks, on winning the Upstate Eight Conference
20 championship; and be it further

1     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to the Hawks as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
